Welcome! This is Bert Susanka thanking you for coming onto this site. I am the singer/songwriter/guitarist for the Ziggens and have been for the last 20 years. You probably know me if you are into the Long Beach, Calif rock scene or have known of my friendship with Sublime back in the day.
Now, after spending the last year and a half carving out time to make my first solo record, I am really excited for you to hear what I’ve come up with the help of legendary producer Rob Perez. Rob and I first met when he helped us record ( in a bedroom)our demo cassette “Wake up and Smell the Ziggens” way back when.This is a very exciting time for me as the Bert Susanka band is planning our first shows as a full band later this month. A new member was just added a few days ago and we are getting closer to being able to do a show that should be really interesting and fun for you. The lineup is:
Rob Perez…Guitar, Greg “Mud” Lauther…Drums, Gary Fitch…Bass Todd Forman…Sax and keyboards and yours truly …guitar and singing.

Also, soon you will be able to get the CD. It is called “Onward Christian Slater” and it has 16 songs.Also available will be an additional 5 tracks from the same sessions that will be available for downloading.
